Sharing Innovation Across Europe: Multiplier Events
The European project Cold Water Swimming for the Prevention of
Dementia and Depression has reached an important stage: the organization
of national multiplier events across partner countries. These events
represent a key moment to share project results, present our innovative
methodology, and engage with experts, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
Our project is dedicated to exploring and promoting the benefits of cold water swimming as a preventive and supportive approach for people aged 50+, particularly in relation to dementia prevention and the treatment of depression. By synthesizing the most significant existing methods and testing innovative approaches, we aim to create a practical and sustainable tool that professionals, trainers, and coaches can use across Europe.
These events are not just about presenting outcomes—they are about
building networks and encouraging cooperation between different types of
organizations in the fight against depression and dementia among adults
over 50.
By spreading knowledge and encouraging dialogue, we aim to ensure that
this innovative methodology will not only remain a project outcome but also
become a practical tool applied across Europe, contributing to healthier and
more active lives for older adults.
