EUROPEAN NETWORK OF ACTIVE LIVING FOR MENTAL HEALTH

ENALMH – European Network of Active Living for Mental Health aims at promoting the use of Sports, Physical Exercise, and Physical Activities in the wider context of Mental Health. It is situated in Brussels, Belgium, and operates under the Belgian Law with the legal form of an International not-for-profit Association (AISBL). Up to the moment, it counts 23 members from 11 countries (IT, UK, SP, GR, CZ, PT, IE, HR, LI, SI and TR).
ENALMH is the institutional outcome of the MEN’s project implemented within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Programme and at the same time was involved in the “Life is like a bike” European Campaign, the organization of the 1st European Sport & Physical Exercise Event for Mental Health and the Conference “Sport & PE for Mental Health: from theory to practice”, both held in Athens, Greece on September and October 2018.
ENALMH, as a European umbrella organization, incorporating the long experience of its members and international scientific documentation, is deeply convinced of the value of the exploitation of Sport and Physical Exercise for Mental Health.
CENTRO INTERNAZIONALE PER LA PROMOZIONE DELL’EDUCAZIONE

CEIPES – Centro Internazionale per la Promozione dell’Educazione e lo Sviluppo is a non-profit organisation founded in 2007 in Palermo (Italy). CEIPES works for the empowerment of people, organisations, and communities by promoting innovation, education, work, and experience.
CEIPES is cooperating on European and international level with more than 300 partner organisations. At the local level, it is operating in Sicily, in strong cooperation with different types of organisations, such as public and private bodies, educational institutions, research centres, Universities, local governmental bodies, and organisations from the sports sector.
CEIPES’main activities are educational, intercultural, and sports activities in partnership with organisations on European and international level, awareness raising activities, seminars and conferences, capacity building and skill development activities (learning and training courses, workshops) for young people and adults, research and innovation, and exchange of good practices.

PK Zagreb – Swimming Club Zagreb is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy and active lifestyles through the sport of swimming. Their mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for children, youth, and adults to learn, practice, and enjoy swimming while fostering a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and respect.
Their vision is to be recognized as a leading provider of high-quality swimming programs in the community, empowering individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential in the sport. They believe swimming is a valuable tool for promoting healthy lifestyles, reducing stress, and building self-esteem. They are committed to providing a wide range of programs and services that cater to the needs of the community, including swim lessons for children and adults, competitive swimming programs, and aquatic fitness classes.
Swimming Club Zagreb is staffed by experienced and certified coaches and instructors who are passionate about their work and dedicated to helping members reach their goals. Their facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all.

IEC Austria – Innovative Education Center was established in Vienna in 2018 by a group of experienced youth workers and international consultants. The aim of the IEC Austria team is to develop projects, training courses, and non-formal and hands-on learning activities to support and improve the use of sport, music, and art as tools for a healthy life, active citizenship, empowerment, social inclusion, mutual understanding, entrepreneurial development, and leadership.
IEC Austria activities and trainings aim to encourage, challenge, inspire, and empower the participants to develop leadership skills and personal capacity; enhance their employability and entrepreneurship; and pursue a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the years, IEC Austria has built a strong network with associations in different sectors, schools, and social enterprises that have created various placement and volunteering opportunities for young people living in Austria and have worked on various projects funded by the European Commission in recent years. IEC Austria puts special interest in the empowerment of disadvantaged groups in society such as migrants, women, and young people with geographical, social, and economic disadvantages.

Shut up and Swim is a swimming school and a sports club that has been operating in Prague under the leadership of head coach Jakub since 2017. During that time, the coaches have worked with and improved more than 600 swimmers. The school specializes in swimming especially for adults, from complete non-swimmers to triathletes who need to fine-tune their technique and speed up, but also organizes instructional courses and camps for young swimmers. The association operates seven swimming pools in Prague, including Ymca, Olšanka, Podolí, Slávie, Tyršův dům, Výstaviště and Šutka. The school offers around 60 lessons per week for 6 levels: Beginner I, II, Intermediate I, II, and Master I and II.
Currently, more than 200 swimmers regularly swim in groups at the school. Shut Up and Swim is synonymous with quality swimming courses and training with a personal approach and maximum attention to the needs of each swimmer. The coaches are experienced professionals and focus on an individual approach to individual swimmers, which allows for achieving great results in a short time.
